This Is The Path We Make

I didn’t begin this journey with a perfect plan.

I’ve homeschooled through every season of life — with help and without, with structure and without, while working long hours and while tending deeply to home. At times, I was a full-time caregiver for my mother, working as a CNA. Other times, I had no job but plenty of stress. Still other times, I worked to build the business that now sustains us — my hypnosis practice, which has become not just work, but a calling woven into my spiritual path.

We’ve done it all:

  • The color-coded schedules.
  • The morning baskets.
  • The unschooling sprees.
  • The curriculum that made us feel like we were “doing it right.”
  • And the beautiful chaos of throwing out the rulebook altogether.

I’ve worried I wasn’t doing enough. I’ve questioned myself — often. But through it all, I’ve kept walking.

Because this path — our path — isn’t made by anyone else’s rules. It’s made by our rhythm. Our values. Our needs. And a kind of faith that doesn’t come from institutions, but from deep inside the earth and spirit.

I walk a mixed path — a Christian-rooted seiðr witch, deeply influenced by Norse values and the practice of honoring those who came before. Our homeschooling reflects that: a balance of soulwork, ancestral wisdom, seasonal living, and practical magic. It’s not always tidy, but it is always sacred.

So if you’ve ever felt like you’re not

 “doing homeschool right” —

I want you to know this:

✨ There is no right way to do this.
There is your way.
And that is enough.

Welcome to Mindful Magics.

This space is for the wild learners, the messy rhythms, the spiritual wanderers, and the families who are building something beautiful — even when it doesn’t look like anyone else’s idea of “success.”

You are not behind. You are not broken.
You’re on the path. And that is holy.

🕯️ This is more than a homeschool — it’s a hearth.

Thanks for walking it with me.
